Compact email widget for Samsung tab S7 tablet?

Gmail widget reserves one full page in tablet. I would like to have three or even four accounts in one page. Just seeing a header of new emails would be enough. For S10 phone it is possible to fit two widgets in one page and this tablet has much more space, so room is not limiter.

Is there a way to add more accounts / widgets in one page?

Model SM-T870 with latest updates including this week released large UI update.

@B. Diddy can we get this moved to the proper forum?

As for the issue - I have multiple Gmail widgets on a home screen page on my Tab S7. The widget can be re-sized. You either have the option to re-size it when you add it initially or your can long-press it and move it slightly so as to activate the re-size dots (one shows on each side of the widget).

Welcome to Android Central! Thread moved from the Galaxy S7 forum (for the phone) to the Tab S7 forum. I agree with hallux -- unless the Tab S7 has some unique full-page Gmail widget, you should be able to resize it.

Thank you for the answer. This resizing is what I've done. The smallest size just is larger than half of the width of the screen and also more than half of the height of the screen.
I see blue dots after long-pressing and the widget can be resized up to the full screen as the max size and until dots/edges turn red in the smallest end.
The same more than 1/2 reserved screen area rule applies both horizontal orientation and vertical orientation. A screenshot showing the smallest possible size is attached.

Widgets have a minimum size -- on my Pixel C, the Gmail widget is shown as 3x2 in the widget list, which means the smallest it can be is 3 columns by 2 rows. So your widget isn't reserving one full page, since you should be able to fit some other shortcuts or widgets around it.

If you use a 3rd party launcher like Nova, you might be able to make it even smaller, but I'm not sure about that.

I can't seem to get a screenshot, but I assure you I have two of those side by side on a page. It MAY come down to your homescreen settings, I have my app grid set to 6x5 rather than the default.

This was a good tip. I changed 6x5 and now two widgets fits. Much better now. Hopefully even tighter layout comes some day to allow four widgets in to the same page.
