And that would be me.... and I am HAPPY to announce that after installing the update, recalibration of my compass, everything is back up and running perfectly. My Compass, GPS apps, Mapping apps, Astronomy apps... are all perfect now. WOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I'm not able to post here on G-Board. I try to type, and nothing shows up in the Quick Reply section. But when I switch to the Samsung Keyboard, I'm able to post. anyone else having this issue?

No, I'm actually using G-board now and it works fine for me, though this has nothing to do with the compass?

Do me a favor please. Go to Settings>About phone>Software information and post your Baseband Version. On the Samsung forum, everyone, myself included has been reporting their baseband version ending in CSAA with NO ONE Reporting anything else. Was wondering if that is the bad guy.

Baseband version ending in CSC1. My compass is spot on. My text tones work perfectly also BTW though they're a little buggy on my Twitter app.
