computer not recognizing inspire

Any reason why? Is there a fix for this? Would like to sync new music from windows media player.

Make sure you're in disk drive mode.

Thanks. U tried that and wmp detects it but do not list it as a player. I go to my computer to open the drive and the computer do not recognize it either

You might need to dowload HTC Sync to get the necessary drivers installed on your computer.

It is simple, but you still need drivers. Anything you plug into your computer needs drivers, and this particular thing has its driver included in the HTC Sync software. Install that, and it installs the drivers for you. If you don't have the internet at home, you'll have to get it from somewhere else and bring it home.

No guarantee WMP will see it as a player though, depends on how it deals with disk drives...
