Okay so just as the title implies, picked on my awesome Pixel 3 XL from Verizon last night I absolutely love it! On Android messaging, call Verizon full times in a row all the services and features are provision correctly and my RCS does not work at all! In the event settings under chat options I click on that, and all it says is everything is provisioning will let me know when it's done. And that's it. Verizon rep who is very nice suggested the hard factory reset but I don't know if that's going to solve the answer either. Any help here is appreciated. Thank you so much!

Sometimes you have to give it some time for the provisioning to happen once you activate RCS. also, the device on the other end as well as carrier need to support it. otherwise you will never see it working on your end.

Which makes sense, the RCS feature is successfully provisioned on the back end from Verizon, and I see the chat feature option in advance settings, but when I click on it, it still says we're setting up this feature you feel right now, we will let you know when it's ready. Ugh...

What is RCS?
Stands for Rich communications services. Basically Android version of iMessage with the carrier support. You can see typing notifications responses etc. Also you can send HD pictures and videos and upload larger files.
