Confused About What Happens After I Got 7.0 Via Beta

There was a lot of publicity about getting Nougat by enrolling, then unenrolling in the Beta program.

It didn't seem like I was getting the September update. So, I re-enrolled in the program and am now running build NRD90T.

Does anyone know if I will get future OTA releases if I'm off the Beta? Or, do I have to do a factory reset to get back on track?

If you unenroll from the Beta, I believe it will push an OTA to take you back to the main line, which will either be NRD90T or the build before that. I am not clear on whether or not that will wipe your data since you've done an OTA since the base build.

Nope. You don't get NRD90U unenrolling. I am waiting for a solution to this as well.

I figured something was not correct as I got the first release of Nougat by enrolling in beta.... But after some time of waiting, I decided flashing the NRD90U factory image and start fresh.... I guess I will see what happens when October security update comes around....

I found this on the Android Beta Program website:

You may remain in the Android Beta Program beyond the N release to preview future Android N maintenance releases (MRs). If you choose to do so, you will automatically get an OTA update to pre-release versions of the MRs as they become available. At the end of the program, you will begin to receive regular public updates.

The T and U variants are public updates not Beta ones. Developer Preview 5 was technically the last Beta.
