Connect EVO to car stereo through USB?

When I use my HD2 all I have to do is connect the usb to my JVC head unit and it will find the music on the sd card and play. Well wouldnt you know it, I connect the EVO to my stereo this morning and it doesnt work. Geez. I have used the mount as disk drive and charge only to no avail.

Can someone please help with suggestions on how to play my own music with the EVO?

Does the JVC need the music to be in a special folder or something? How was it laid out on the HD2?

Nope its in the same folder has was on the hd2. All I did was copy my music files from the HD2 to the EVO. Im not sure whats going on.

Check what your HD2's memory stick is formatted as. Maybe your JVC only supports FAT16, instead of the default FAT32 that Android uses.

That could be the case but I removed my 16gb card out of the HD2 to the EVO, its the same. I just checked and the EVO card has FAT32
