Welcome to Android Central! The Call and Text on Other Devices feature on Samsung is only compatible with Samsung phones, from what I understand. The only way you could make a call on your tablet would probably be if you used some other VoIP service, like Google Voice, Skype, etc.

Verizon messages would allow it, but that is of course only for Verizon customers.

my experience with Verizon's Messages + was very disappointing. the app installed and worked on my iphone 12 mini. however,, when I tried to install the app on my Samsung Tab 6, it would not install. same story in my secondary phone a Pixel 4a. same story on my Windows 10 computer. all devices up to date on hardware and software. I spent hours on the phone with several layers of Verizon tech support. they eventually opened a "ticket" and told me I would hear back in a few days. that was well over a month ago. they could never get the app to work on my other devices and they never got back to me. unfortunately they did not give me the ticket number and I failed to ask for it. ice deleted the Verizon Messages + app from my iphone. lots of time wasted. a complete fail by Verizon as far as I'm concerned. ice been a loyal customer for decades because they have the best coverage in my area.
