Connect to Tab S8 Ultra

I have read multiple articles that the watch 4 classic (and maybe others) I able to connect to the Tab S8 series. I have followed the instructions from Samsung on how to do this. No joy. I can pair it to the tablet but once paired it won't install. I try using the wear app and it does not find the watch. I have reset the watch. I tried chatting with a Samsung support rep and she said it has to be reset and then connected through Samsung flow. Said once reset to go to apps and select the flow app. Can't get to the apps without connecting. Was then to to set up without a phone and the steps described were not available on my watch. Then she swift connect to a regular phone and then connect to the tablet. Everything I have read is that you can't connect a watch tiddies two devices at the same time.

Has anyone been successful in doing this (or even trying?) I have a watch connected to my phone already. I want my 2nd wwatch to my new tablet. Everything I read says its possible. The promo material for the tablet says its possible. But nothing works

you say you are using the wear app, you need the Galaxy wearables app not the wear OS app.

The widget says wear. It is the galaxy wearable app.

I've never been able to connect the watch 4 to my Tab S7 plus.
