I would like to connect to a tv, to watch movies from my mobile on a larger screen.

Better still, if I can get some sort of a usb hub so that in addition to connecting to a tv , i, can also connect a mouse and keyboard, for games, that would be perfect.
Preferably I could also charge the phone while im, doing this.

Now on my older HTC one i,sudd this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0...ag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5470054
And it worked!
So I want to ask, why won't it work if I use a usb c to micro usb adaptor ( they are small little things usb c for my g5 on one side and micro, usb on the other )
??? No, image came up on, The hdmi2 channel on my tv. Why not??

If I could figure out why that won't work, possibly there's no reason for me to buy anything new !! So that's the desired solution, if anyone has experience with this , please contact me !

if not, what do I need for my lg g5???

I don't see anything for the G5 saying that it outputs HDMI on the microUSB port. Try Chromecast for the TV. (You should still be able to use a mouse and keyboard through USB.)

I guess u have to use hdmi or some kind of usb adapter. Then use mirror link. I tried connecting my phone to tv, but it needs an adapter in order to mirror screen from phone to tv.

I think you mean screen sharing ?
It didn't find my tv.
Looks like the previous poster is saying this mobile is incapablenot outputting the screen via HDMI? But the Samsung galaxy s5 and HTC one was? Doesn't seem likely that such a feature would be removed from, a newer model.
But why didn't the cable I used on the Samsung galaxy s5 work with this mobile? Only thing I can think of is the micro usb to type c adaptor ??
