Connected media player

Whenever I want to listen to music or view pictures I have to wait for it to select a player. It's kinda annoying is there anyway around this?

Why would viewing pictures cause the you to wait for "a player"??? Are you using some other app to look at your music or picture files other than a music app (for music) or the gallery app (for pictures)???

it should have a check box in the dialog that says "always use..."
