Connecting an old Gear 2 (not the Gear S2) to an S7.

So my Band 2 strap broke and while it's out for repairs, I thought I would pull out my old Gear 2 Neo watch and use that. I couldn't seem to connect it via the Samsung Manager. While I see the BT messages, it doesn't actually make a connection. Anyone know if the Gear 2 Neo is supported on the S7?

The older watches need the Gear Fit manager app.
