"Connecting Network, please wait for a while"

Alright so, right now, i'm using a rooted mytouch 4g without a data plan. Whenever i'm using my phone, a message appears at the bottom saying, "Connecting Network, please wait for a while." Any ideas on how to get rid of it? I was thinking it was one of my apps that kept trying to connect to the internet, but I don't remember downloading any that constantly required it... Any help would be much appreciated!

Mine was doing the same thing. I figured out it was easy battery saver app. It was on super saver
