Connecting to a PC

I am changing to an S7 and smart switch is not supported on the 6p. I have tried connecting my 6p to move all of my photos and videos on to my PC and then move them to my S7 but the PC doesn't see all the photos. Any thoughts? I have also tried Send Anywhere. It will move the videos over but rewrites the dates to today's date.

1. See Backing up an Android Device. Back up from the 6, restore to the 7.

2. The date you see is the last modified date. Copying a file is modifying it. There are EXIF apps that will give you the date the picture was taken. (Unfortunately, as far as I can determine, there are no "touch" apps to change the modified date.)
