If you don't care about the zoom and S-pen, it really is a nice device. I don't think the pictures and videos do it justice. I would go to Best Buy if you can and hold one. It is so light and small, yet still feels ultra premium. I like it a lot, but I am just married to the S-pen (even without the bluetooth features)

I can see it as a secondary phone for me with some discounts on the price

Wallet has NFC on the back of it and you just placed your phone to it which takes you to Smart Switch app for transfer

I finally got over to BB to check the phone out, wow so thin and great feeling in hand. Hanging out with my iPhone 15 Pro Max and Pixel 9 XL l.

It's different but I still don't get why? Samsung really made this because Apple is releasing the iPhone 17 air?

I couldn't disagree more. With a case it will be as thick as a naked Ultra. If you are a case person you're going to put a case on any thickness phone - increasing it by the same amount. So it will still be thinner than your Ultra with a case. Only with the edge you start thinner, therefore with a case you are still thinner.

Also, they need to be able to go this thin to make the foldables thin enough that you can carry it folded without it feeling like a brick.

I don't think they are doing it to 'beat' Apple. I think everyone wants to go thinner, and Samsung actually beat Apple. How many times has Samsung or someone else beat Apple to market only to be accused of releasing something just to be first?

Preorder promotions are not great. $50 accessory credit and free storage upgrade to 512 GB. Even the trade-in values aren't great with max trade-in value of only $630. This is for unlocked model and there are probably carrier deals which I'm not interested as usual

Will do !! I dropped by Best Buy yesterday to play around with the phone. Feels very nice in the hand and super light phone. Even compared to the S25+ it's very light.

But honestly, it's going to be a very niche phone and I don't think even Samsung expects this to sell in any meaningful numbers. It's probably just an experiment and also wanted to get the thin device out before Apple releases theirs this fall.

Carriers aren't offering anything.

Hopefully, I would be happy if Samsung just gives the Buds FE and increase Trades.

Flip 6 promotions was their best for me.
