Considering Galaxy Nexus: Should I Wait?

I'm looking around and only seeing the used GSM Gnex going for $330 minimum which is only $19 less than a brand new one directly from Google with a full warranty, return/exchange option, so GTFO!! I'm not buying a used one for that price! People are greedy and apparently crazy. :what:

I'll either buy it new directly from Google or wait it out.

Yeah, I noticed the same when I was pondering my G-Nex purchase (I finally bit the bullet last week): used scratch and dent devices north of $300 and new-in-box for over $400 on eBay. It made absolutely no sense to me. My G-Nex straight from the Play Store came out to around $380 with tax/shipping.

The used prices are like that because before Google started selling it in the Play Store, the GNex was going for $550-$650 online. So that's why they're still asking quite a bit for used devices. Also remember that the GNex isn't available from the Play Store outside the US, which keeps prices up a bit. Exporters are buying the GNex from the Play Store and reselling overseas.

That doesn't account for the guys on Craigslist selling locally for stupid prices for a used nearly year old phone... :banghead:

People will sell items for the prices that other people are willing to pay.
