Considering going to a G5?

I've had a G2, G3, and G4 but after today I'm buying an S7 Edge.
I've had the LG Optimus M, Optimus V, Optimus 2X, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, G3, and G4...and I don't want to go anywhere near the G5. I won't jump ship to the Galaxy, though, because I hate the backwards navigation buttons and a removable battery is a huge deal for me. May consider the Note 6 if they bring back the removable battery... In the meantime, I'm just hoping something else can catch my eye. Otherwise, I'm happy with my G4.

The lack of hot-swappability of the modules would be a deal breaker for me. I love the back volume buttons but would be willing to deal with losing that. The modules sound interesting but having to go through a reboot (however fast, it would still be an interruption) each time would get old in a hurry.

Hot swappable modules/battery would have been a game changer and changed my mind real quick. That's such a genius idea that it's sad they didn't think of it. Maybe in the future.

If the phone at least had a smaller body to go with its smaller screen, I might have been interested. The back is ugly, but it's not like we ever actually look at it.

I use my phone mostly for texting, checking my weather apps, and taking photos. (I do have other apps as well, but those are the things that I do the most). The most imortant thing to me is the camera, and I am happy with my G4 in that regard, it takes great pictures. Since the G5 has essentially the same camera, I see no real need for me to upgrade this time around (the second wide angle camera would be fun, but not really necessary). So, I'll probably just wait for the G6!
