Constant Cellular & WLAN Connectivity Issues

This is my 3rd Samsung Android device, a Note 3. Had same issues with Note 2. Losing cellular 4G and WLAN connection. Cannot rejoin unless power cycle the phone. Not even enabling/disabling flight mode works. Highly annoying. Any ideas from telecom/EE/anyone who knows the antenna types?
