Has anyone experienced an issue with a message constantly appearing saying the following...

"unfortunately, com.samsung.unifiedsetttingservice has stopped"

did some google research and cleared cache for the phone and the app and it still continuing to happen. It making my phone unusable as the message it just in an infinite loop and you're only able to hit ok and then it pops right back up.

Restarting the phone works for a short time and them i an hit with the message again.

Trying to avoid factory reset, but if that's the only option at this point :'(

I did ask verizon they continue to tell me to just factory reset my phone, which i am trying to avoid. Have not tried safe mode i will do that.

Are you able to escalate to a Tier 2 tech support person? If you're talking to a Tier 1 person, maybe you can let them know that you want to avoid factory resetting, and if that person doesn't have anything else to suggest, then kindly ask for someone higher up.

They always say to do a factory reset when they don't know how to solve a problem. Then, when that doesn't work they say, "oh".

for me, this is clearly an issue with package disabler. havent narrowed down which app is the culprit yet though.
