I have Pixel 7 Pro. When I tap Photos, I see a Share icon at the bottom of the app. When I tap the Share icon, I see 4 or 5 email addresses that I cannot get rid of. Two of them are in my Contacts list, but two others are NOT in my Contacts list. Those two are 3-4 months old. They appeared while I was learning Google Home Drive for desktop. Over the past few months I've tried everything that I can find to delete those two but I have failed. They only appear in my photos-related apps.

How can I get rid of specific email addresses in the Share function of Photos? (Forget the WhatsApp icons-I've since deleted the WhatsApp app.

Here's what I did to remove the unwanted email addresses that appear when tapping Photos>Share:

Went to the Play store, found the Google Photos app, and tapped Uninstall. This uninstalled the updates but did not uninstall the app itself.

When I then tapped Photos>Share, the addresses were removed and only the Gmail addresses remained. GREAT!

But when I then updated the Photos app, the screen shown in my previous message reappeared. Go figger...

UPDATE: The above instructions no longer works. Now no matter how many times I uninstall Google Photos updates and then update Google Photos, the unwanted addresses still appear.

From what I've been able to obtain from old messages about this problem (circa 2018 and up), it's a known issue that Google either cannot or will not correct. I suspect the latter to be true. I've sent feedback to Google to no avail. Oh well, guess I'll just live with it.
