Ever since my Samsung S8 Plus received the Oreo update, I constantly get error pop ups that start with "Instantiate Action error - java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:..."

These message pop up every time I plug the phone in, unplug the phone, turn the volume all the way down to vibrate, turn the volume up from vibrate, anytime I receive a call, anytime I receive a voice mail. I'm sure I have seen them pop up other times but so far those are the only consistent patterns I've noticed.

I've waited a few weeks hoping to see other people with this problem but have not come across it anywhere.

Has anyone else heard of or seen this going on?

If you're using an app that manages your audio in any way (sound profiler, third party volume control, microphone app, etc.) try uninstalling it and see if it resolves your issue.

I would also recommend you wipe the cache partition if you haven't done that already.

Thanks WallaceD! Your suggestion fixed my problem. I had to uninstall "SoundAbout", which I don't use anyways. Wonder why they would be an issue though...?

Could depend on when the app was installed. If it was before the OS update to Oreo, some things the app expects from the OS may have changed such that it messes with some install hooks after the OS update.

Sometimes un-installing and re-installing will fix it since the app will install with Oreo in place.

Doesn't usually affect most apps, but there is the occasional odd-ball.
