So I took the jump and rooted my Sprint Hero. The only problem is when I try and flash a new ROM (tried sprint leak and damage control 2.0) it just goes in to a constant reboot cycle. Can anyone shine light on to what I've done wrong?

When this happens, most common cause is improper wipe or improper download. Wipe everything and try again or try to download and flash again.

Now when I load any ROM it goes to the sprint yellow thing then right back to the white HTC screen where it locks up.

Are you sure its locked up? It can take like 10 min sometimes. Plug into computer during bootup and navigate to the ask tools (cd c:\Android-sdk-windows\tools) and then type adb logcat. As long as that's spitting out stuff it isn't frozen

Having the same issue.

Also when you see the sprint screen then the white htc let it sit there for awhile 5-10 min. If the white htc screen turns darker or you feel a little vibrate its working.

if you see the sprint screen more than once then you know it isn't done right.
