contact names have randomly changed

Most of my contact names have changed to some random names and I dont know how to fix it. I dont know if its u bug... please help

Welcome to the forums!

The information of your contacts should not have changed on its own. Open the contacts or people app, whichever you have installed. Go to menu and see if there is an option to display the contact names a certain way and adjust if necessary.

I had a look and there were other phone numbers - international ones- added to my already existing contacts. .. I figured out it had to do with my microsoft exchange account or hotmail... so I disabled that but now cant receive emails on my phone... tried to add the email address from scratch but then the same problem happens...

I am facing the same issue, most of the contact names have changed to some other name I had saved in my phone and I got to know this on whataspp group when I saw many of my friends with different names texting to me. The phone numbers were saved to different contact names and its very weird.

Could anyone please help here...
