Contact picture issues...

Not really a big deal, but I wonder if anyone else was experiencing this.

I just got the Evo. I have a bunch of contacts linked through facebook. A couple friends had low quality photos so I took new ones to replace those. Well, one works fine and is the default pic for that person. The other resets back to the facebook picture after a couple minutes. I don't get why one works and the other doesn't.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Having the same problem.. I do NOT want facebook pictures to sync over if I've already manually set a picture. There are certain people I know who change their contact pic almost daily and I want their FACE! Not their kid, vacation spot, or body part.

I saw an option in the main android settings under Sync (Menu-Settings-Accounts & Sync - Facebook for HTC Sense) that has a "Sync Contacts" option but I cannot find out what that syncs.. Pictures, email, contact info etc.. Is it an all or nothing sync?

Hopefully one of us can figure this out soon , its driving me nutts.

Aha! Figured it out..

1) Go into your People application, select the contact with the problematic contact picture.

2) Click the little icon in the upper right that says "Linked"...
3) On the "Linking page" click the Menu button..
4) Press Select Contact Photo.. and decide which you want to use for that contact.

So far mine hasn't reverted yet (Though it's only been a few minutes heh)

Not to hijack, but when I am SMS with someone, I have their pic in there, but the pic for me is blank, how do you fix that, thanks in advance.
