Howdy folks...did a search and didn't seem to find any threads that addressed this issue. That is, as an amateur/semi-pro/hobbyist photographer, I enjoy snapping my own pic to use for my friend's contact pics, when possible. My question is why, when a pic is assigned to a contact, and that pic is activated during a phone call, it shows up blurry, somewhat noisy, and beginning to pixelate. Having copied pics from my SD card, where they are stored, I noticed that each pic seems to get a corresponding thumbnail. I am going on the assumption that the phone defaults to the thumb in the assigning process, hence the disintegration when blown up to call activation size.
I don't recall this issue with my BB Storm2, but do recall it happening with my DInc. Has anyone else found this to be the case? Is there a way around it? One would think that if a clear photo can be shown in the gallery to represent the shot, it can happen for this contact issue. All ideas are welcome, and thanks.
