Howdy All,
I noticed today that all of my contacts that have been synced from my gmail account have their address fields all combined into just the street address portion of the contact's address info.
For example, if in Mac OS X Address Book (which I also have syncing with gmail), I have:
Address: 1111 1st Street
City: Springfield
State: VA
Zip: 12345
I will end up with this on the Droid Incredible's people entry for the same contact as:
Address: 1111 1st Street
Springfield, VA 12345
City: <blank>
State: <blank>
Zip: <blank>
This means that when I view an contact's details, the address info does not all fit into the address field and I end up having to bring the address up on the map and look at its details there. This is extremely annoying.
I expect this is because gmail appears to just have a free-form field for the full address.
Is anyone else having this problem? Short of manually editing all of my contacts on the phone, is there a way to get around this? E.g., is there a way to directly sync my OS X Address Book with the Droid Incredible? I'd prefer a solution that works the gmail, though, so that it can all be automatic in the background....
Thanks!
