Contacts Application Keeps Crashing

Can someone please, please, please help me. For the last week, my Contacts application keeps popping up an alert, randomly, telling me that my Contacts application has failed. How can I fix this?

I'm having the same annoying problem. There are numerous of threads about this already.

Patiently waiting for lollipop hoping it will be solved with the update.

Same issue here, I think it is related to one of the apps I recently installed (gf like playing ****ty games, makes me tag along). If I reboot the phone, or close all of the apps from the tray, it stops happening.
