Just got a note 3 today. Nice! Much x4 better than the Mythic I had!

The contacts came over (transfered by AT&T) from the Mythic with multiple entries for some names and I spent 2 - 3 hours editing them out. So my question is - Why isn't there a better way? Is there PC Software (from the Note 2?) that I can use to edit the entries and arrange the fields in the order I like to see instead of the default?

Thanx, cvt

Once you get it cleaned up this time make sure all your contacts are synced to your email account. That way you never have to do it again. All you have to do is setup your email account and done. Contacts are pulled in with correct info and no duplicates. When carrier transfers contacts it's always a mess.

You can link duplicates in contact app to speed up process. But, it can also make more of a mess. Also, I think you can edit contacts through Kies but I've never tried.

Currently I sync my contacts with AT&T Address Book. But I'd like to know how to sync my contacts to my email account.

If you have a Gmail account, which I would assume, it probably already is synced up. Go to accounts under general in settings and select Google. Click your account and see what is syncing. If you want to be sure, just go online and sign in to your account and check your contacts. Also I want to say if you have multiple email accounts on your phone it will ask you which account you want to default to when you save a new contact.
