After One UI7 update the groups button is no longer visible above the Contacts list. It is now showing as a contact under Frequently Contacted. Is there a way to not have to scroll to the Groups contact in the list to open the groups?

Welcome to Android Central forums. Just a few questions first.

What device do you have?

What Contacts app are you using?

I too recently received the One UI update so looking in my contacts apps, I see that in my Samsung Contacts app I still have a "contact" under Favorites named Groups. I don't see this in the Google Contacts app. I don't find a Frequently Contacted contact in either list. Will you attach a screenshot of what you're seeing so that we are all looking at the same thing, in the same place?

In the meantime, I've attached a screenshot of my contacts app after the update showing my Group contact to see if this is what you're talking about. If mine is what you're looking for and your app is different please check your app version and post it for us so that we can compare. My version is 15.7.38 and you can find this by navigating to Settings>Apps>Contacts>scroll to the bottom of the page Version.

The only advice I can offer without more information from you would be to first try clearing the app cache. Navigate like above, once on the app page navigate to Storage>Clear cache/Clear data. In apps like this where you automatically connect and stay logged in, clearing the cache or data will not have any ill effects other than restoring default settings. If you're like me, the only setting I've changed is dark mode, so easy restore.

Let us know what you find.
