Contacts Merger Help

Hi All. I hope that you are all doing well today. I am having some issues with my contacts on my new HTC One with AT&T. I switched over from Verizon and had my contacts transferred at the store. When I got home from the store, I realized that my contacts were all jacked up and I had up to 5 unique contact listings for each person. I went through and manually consolidated my contacts. I didn't realize that the phone was pulling contacts from my Google address book and my phone address book. Now half my contacts are in my phone back and the other half are in Google.

Is there an easy way to consolidate these listings so that I don't have two incomplete sets of contacts?

Nevermind. I played around with it and found out that I could copy entire address books to the other one
