Contacts sort by last name?

Is there a way to sort contacts by last name using the app on the S3? Thanks.

If you are talking about using the default contacts app, then yes there is. If you go into the contacts, then press the menu key (bottom left), then scroll down to settings you should see "List by" and have the option to change it from first name to last name.
