Hello,

My stock (unrooted) Droid 3 will not do anything but display the error: "the application Contacts Storage (process com.motorola.contacts) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I had not installed any apps or changed any setting recently. The only feature I had used was putting it in airplane mode.

I am comfortable with rooting if that would fix it but I don't see any evidence online that would help. I also would be fine just wiping it and installing a fresh factory rom but I don't want to lose the pictures and videos of my baby daughter. (I had a lot of them copied off but not all)

Can anyone either give me an idea how to fix it or a way to get the data off of it so I can flash it?

Thanks in advance,
