Contacts Sync issue DX to thunderbolt

After changing phones from a Droid X to the Thunderbolt im having a sync issue with verizons back up assistant. I logged in on my thunderbolt during the initial setup to sync my contacts with my phone. All the names got transfered to my new phone but none of the phone numbers are their. Strange. Any fix for this, or suggestions?

Just going to bump. Just in case it was missed

Just sync everything up to Google and then pull it all back down.
