Contacts sync

When I first synced my phone with Gmail, everything worked properly. the Contacts in my gmail showed up on my phone, but now im noticing all these random email addresses showing up in my phone, from people I have emailed. how do i remove these and stop from syncing?

Im pretty sure that is something with GMail because I have random email addresses in my contacts from people I have emailed from my desktop computer. Still trying to figure out how to stop that.

Check out People | Menu | View and select only the contacts you want to see.

That sorta worked, I just selected to show only those with a phone number and minimized it to my "real" contacts. The option for Google has 751 contacts, but I only have 228 contacts in Gmail..the other 500 are likely lowballing crackheads from craigslist
