Contacts won't update

Hi I have a one plus 2 running marshmallow. Hotmail and Gmail emails using outlook. I am not able to enter new contacts thru outlook app or Gmail or phone app. I will be able to save the "new contacts" but eventually they disappear... only way I manage to add them is either thru outlook on my computer or logging to Hotmail.com then they will sync to the phone... is Thu some way to fix this? It used to work in the past...

When you talk about entering new contacts using the Gmail or Phone app, do you mean the Contacts app? If you want to create a new contact, it's best to go through the Contacts app. I would also strongly recommend associating new contacts with your Google account, so that they get synced immediately and automatically with your Google Contacts in the cloud.
