Contacts??

I recently had a droid charge, and in its OS there was a way to combine duplicate contacts, I cant seem to figure out how to do that on the D3....any help??

go into contacts, open a contact, hit menu, then edit, menu again, link contact

you can also do this from contacts.google.com pretty easy to manage contacts there

Best way to do it... unless you want to join/link Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn contacts. Then you have to use the method described by johnnyshinta.
