Is there any way I can remove email addresses in my contact lists. And if there is duplicate names with a email as one contact and then another contact with same name but just phone number how do I store the info under one contact. Thanks Jerry

Go to contact and click edit, then menu key, and click join select other account to join with.

Also, if you are using Gmail for your contacts you can have it do a search for duplicates and merge those... the easiest is to use a PC/Laptop and go to your Gmail account > Contacts > More > Find & merge duplicates.

You can't join two accounts if one is Google and the other is on phone or Facebook or something else. Through Google web page.
