Contemplating ordering Purple?

I have the white currently preordered(Sony Unlocked from Canada), but am still contemplating getting purple. It was the colour that originally led me to inquiring about the Xperia Z2, but I'm a little unsure still.

I am a guy and while I'm not afraid to rock a purple device, is it a very girly purple, or a more blue/purple as I've seen in some pictures? Also, upon reading about the plastic band on the white discolouring, this has me somewhat concerned as I will probably have to use a case that has it exposed as I plan to use the dock.

Any thoughts? I still have time to switch the order, but time is running down.

The purple Z2 looks OK and yes a colour (correct spelling lol) that is generally associated with the female of the species, that said I would of bought it as I tend not to give a **** what anyone else thinks lol but I preffered the white and I must say it looks stunning and the plastic band has not had any discolouration thus far wooohooo

I had a yellow Lumia 1020 so I would have no problem with a purple Z2. If you like it go for it.

Same here. As well as a red 1520. The purple however looks metallic on the back in sunlight, which could stand out greatly.

I haven't seen it in person, but like sdc1 mentions if you like it go for it, dont let what others think stand in your way, looks like a great colour Tbh

Your best bet is to get your hands on one in a store and see if you like it.

I got a Z2 on Sunday and I was going to go for the Purple and looked at it but chose against it.

It hasn't really got a Blue tint to the purple, more Magenta"y" is that makes sense. It's a brighter Purple than it looks in some of the pics I saw but is still a nice colour.

I nearly went for purple buy went against it incase people thought it looked pink lol. I went with black.

Sorry to say, but think Justin Bieber purple, a darkish purple yet not too dark. You won't get judged, as the purple is far from pinkish. Besides purple is the colour of royalty. The review sites also have purple and they loved it's colour.

Would you mind posting some pictures that you think represent the phones colour as close as possible? I have only a day or two now to switch if I'm going to and am still on the fence.

I just got the purple and it's awesome! Purple is my favorite color; must've started when I became a fan of Deep Purple. haha I'm a man too btw.
