Content Hidden Problem

My new Huawei 7a has been displaying "content hidden" on all my apps like emails, Facebook messenger etc. I have gone into settings for app notifications and the display name and message section is turned on. I've tried turning it off and on again and also turning my phone off and on and it is still displaying "contents hidden"

I will take a shot in the dark here and say you have face unlock on and it's because you have something called "Smart lock screen notifications" on. You will find that setting in the Face unlock tab. So if you turn that off you will see the content again.
