I dont really get full use out of my cable, but to be able to pick what I want to watch when o want to watch makes it a lot more convenient for me....plus...its google....I find everything. With that and my evo.....I will be awwwwwwwwesome...Apple tv...ha!

I don't currently have any sort of TV subscription ( Cable, etc...), so I get all of my TV via internet, Google TV would allow me to make my viewing experience much better.

I am most looking forward to having a Google TV for all the right reasons. Plus my 1992 Sony 52" rear projection is almost outta gas. I think its bout that time. When I do get one I probably won't move from the couch like in Idiocracy.

I would use Google TV to watch my son play football at his college. Unfortunately we can't afford to travel to his games, but the local conference streams their games on-line, so we would be able to watch his games on our TV instead of our little netbook.

Yes a HTPC can do everything and more than this box can, but its more convinient as easier to use for my 6 year old..

I'm most exited about being able to surf the web on my TV. This should really help for sports games that are only on the web. It's kind of a pain to get out my laptop, hook it up to my TV, and then navigate to right spot. Just one less thing to have to mess with.

I'm just stupid excited about this new technology, period!

But, I'm really looking forward to being able to look stuff up online, on my TV, while watching a Discovery Channel, Science Channel, History Channel, etc show. You can't beat that with a stick!

twitter over TV, and local streaming of torrent-ed content. I know it is suppose to be all about online available content but I would much rather use it to replace my original xbox running xbmc for streaming local content.
