Continually signing in?

It seems like I have to sign in continually to the google acount on my phone. Every other day or so, I am forced to do their little authentication code thing, which is hard to see (can't tell which letters are which).

Is there any way to set this so it lasts longer? A month? Every 3 months?

It's pretty annoying. I'll go to buy an app, and it won't download because I'm not signed in.

Moderately frustrating, and I hope someone has an idea on how to help!

Do u have two step account login in enabled. Because that's what it sounds like.

I have had to do a hard reset twice to get my phone to continually recognize my Google account...my 4th total hard reset since updating to Gingerbread....smh

Yodatom, I don't know what a "two step account" login is . . . how would I check?
