I have four devices and a "More Everything 10G" plan right now (which I use maybe 5G max per month). I'm looking at either the Pixel XL or Z Force, but more importantly trying to figure out what plan I should be using.

My current phone (Droid Turbo) just came off a 2 year contract, and I'm trying to understand whether I should get a new 2 year contract or do the 2 years 0% financing deal.

From looking at the VZW checkout process, it sort-of appears that the 0% financing deal is net cheaper. It's $10 more per month, but I don't have to pay the ~$400 up front for the phone. Is that the right analysis? I'm going to keep whatever phone I get for around 2 years so I want to get the best deal over that timeframe. I don't have a preference as to pay over time or pay all up front (or some combination), just want the best overall deal.

Alternatively. if I buy a Pixel XL direct from Google, I can register it with Verizon on the same line and itll end up being the same, correct?

Sorry, as I'm sure this has been asked 100 times before, but I can't find the right post. Thanks for any help!

Best Buy has the option to purchase on 2-year contract for $299. You can also do the monthly installment or pay in full. As for the best deal, if you are looking at the costs of the phone then perhaps the 2-year option is best. You pay less (at the costs of a 2-year contract), so if that's OK with you and you don't plan on going anywhere then consider that as an option. A quick disclaimer that you might want to check with Verizon to see if there is an additional access charge if you purchase a subsidized phone on contract. Sprint for example charges an additional access fee if you purchase a subsidized phone, so in the long run, this option doesn't end up being the best option if you are concerned about total cost.

Since we are getting close to the Holiday's, you may want to wait a little and see if there are better incentives. For example, Best Buy may throw in gift cards with the purchase which makes the deal sweater.

I'm not up to par with the Verizon plans, so I can't help you in that regard to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck; however, I'm sure someone who does will provide feedback on that front.

Are all of the lines out of contract?

Look into Google project fi. It may or may not work for you. I tested out a pixel on fi and love the service. I use about a gig a month. So my bill is around 30.00 per month. You pay 20.00 for unlimited talk & text, and 10.00 per gig. You only pay for the data you actually use. So if you bought 1 gig and use half a gig, Google credits your next bill. You'll be switching from T-mobile, sprint, US cellular, and secure WiFi. You never notice a switch even if you're on a call. I've never been without a great signal. You can also get a data only sim for another device without a monthly fee. You just pay for additional data if incurred.

Going by the OP's usage (4 lines 10GB but really only using about 5GB), the OP's cost would be $115.

4 lines: 20 + 15 + 15 + 15 = $65
5GB data: $50
or 10GB data: $100

Oh and each line would need a Pixel or Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P or Nexus 6.

Switch to Sprint get 50% off how many pounds are buy one get one for you and great deals. 103 post what I just said because it said it failed so hopefully this is not post twice. LG stylos $10 a month Samsung Galaxy J-3 if you got more than one of them they would all be free after 10.
