Cool story about my Gear S...

Brightness is auto, display is 10 sec and idk about wake up gesture. When I look at my watch it wakes up if that's what you mean.

Yes that's what I mean it wakes when you look at it. I only ask because you get about a day. If I adjust the brightness to low, and have it wake when I push the button, I could get another day out of it.

I don't mind charging it every night but I like to know the maximum time I could get. When I get new toys after I finish all my testing then I settle down and use them normally and confortably. Thnks

Don't forget the charger is a backup battery and not to bad to carry. You can get about a 50% charge off of that. So even if you do run low you can charge up on the go.

Actually I did not get a full day. I think it was at 100% at about 7 am I believe it died around 2. But perhaps it wasn't full. Normal usage.

I like my screen brightness all the way up. Somehow, I still make it thru the day with no battery issues.

I love this phone. For me it's like a normal watch. What it needs to do it does automatically and I don't have to pay attention to it. I can hear the notification tone what's sent to the watch and I now have turned the notification for Outlook on the watch completely off since routing it through Gmail let's me read the entire message when Outlook didn't. The calender app let's me see everything the phone calender shows me. The weight and size are no problem. I've worn regular watches that weighed more. Using the key board for texts just takes practice. The maping feature is the one thing I'm still working on. I remember the first time I was on the opposite side of the place I work and my wrist started ringing. I did a **** Tracy and the person who called couldn't tell I wasn't on my phone. Could I live without it? Yes. The convenience it provides is is well worth the extra price. I love my Note 4, but knowing I don't have to drag the phone into movie, stores, and restaurants is great.
