Is there anyway to copy contact info to paste in a text message or email?
Sending a vcard does not always make sense and is not always what I need.
On bb I was able to copy and paste anything on the phone.
Thanks in advance

No i do not think there is. I was having the same issue. I think you can only copy and paste in the browser, but i could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong

You can do it by clicking EDIT CONTACT and select each section (phone number, email, address) separately. Click on phone number and hold your finger (2 sec) on it and it will give you option to Copy All, and paste is anywhere you want.

yea, just longpress in the input fields and you will get an option to copy, paste, cut, and select all.

that should work in almost any input (editable) field.

it's not really a work around, it's just the way it is.

i wish htc had somehow implemented their way to copy and paste from the browser to all the native android apps, as the browser implementation is the best i've seen so far.

Just open to view contact. Hit menu and there is an option to send contact. Pick from the list. You can send via mms, email and BT.

That point has been realized....unfortunately sending vcard as a mms does not always play well with non smart phone users. Plus why would I want to send all the contact info on some one when all they may need is a number or email address.

agreed bb had a way better copy and paste but luckily i barely use it so i can do the walkarounds or go old school and rewrite it
