copy / move files from internal storage to memory card

[Android Central Question]

hello,
I can without problem move or copy files from the memory card to the internal storage, but not the other way around...
Any idea why anyone ?

as a matter of fact I discovered that I had registered some time ago to MOBILENATIONS and it seems this is the same forum !!

What type of files are you trying to copy? How are you trying to do this? PC or phone? What file manager are you using?

It was a pdf, but when I could not do it, I tested with a jpg and it was the same :

card ==> internal storage works fine
internal storage ==> card : can't either move or copy

I do it by going through My Drive but there ought to be an other way
I'm not using any file manager but the one included in android 9

so far I had only been using up to android 6 and all was going smoothly in both directions...

yes this works...
and just as lulubelle143 pointed out, the OLD way was way quicker and easier than the NEW one !
that's the way things go !! lol

But a lot less secure. Android is designed to be used in a corporate environment. It just takes another step, but viruses can't take that step.
