First of all... LOVE MY PHONE. Going from a Storm Dos to this is night and day. I do have one gripe though... I can't copy and paste. Someone, anyone... is there a 3rd party client that can do this?

No app needed.
Long press on the text and a pop up magnification window pops up. Release. Drag the markers to highlight the text to be copied, select the icon on the left.

Then long press to paste.

Tip: use the optical joystick for accuracy.

What are you trying to copy and paste? Text from one app to another?

You can definitely copy and paste. All you do is long press a word within the text you want copied, and it will give you the option. If you're in the default browser, its the first icon.

I've heard this cannot be done within the GMail mail application.

Sorry. I didn't make myself clear. I meant if I read someone's text message. And I want to copy their message, a long press won't work.

It's kind of a kludgy way of doing it, but you can press down on the message, select forward, and then select and copy the text in the not yet forwarded message. And cdf3 is correct, it does not work in Gmail :(

This is something that I'm SERIOUSLY hoping gets fixed.

No copy/paste in gmail? SMS? Google Talk?

What a pain...

I was starting to wonder if it was just me. I to wondered if copy/paste worked in the gmail app.
