Copy paste, pasting double

Whenever I copy something and paste it, it pastes it twice ( example: if I copied "paper" it would paste "paperpaper"). This happens in my messages app, and email / Gmail apps. It happens essentially in every app I can paste in around 1/4 of the time I paste something.

Any idea how to stop it from happening?

I have tried switching keyboards and that did not help.

That happens every single time you paste?

Try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21095
