Copy/Wipe/Flash with ADB

That's the best bet just keep a copy of the nadroid you make on your pc. Even if things go really really wrong if you can get to bootloader then you can flash recovery and restore that nadroid or use the files i uploaded and return to stock and start over. Once you get the hang of it takes no time at all. Last not i unrooted/rooted in less then 30min.Im going to find them commands and ill make sure to post them. (i want them too)lol

Yea. I got it all down in my head. Hardest part is gonna be waiting to transfer my movies and stuff. Lol.

Was thinking about it. Don't need to unroot and if I do. As long as its stock don't care what files they are at that point cause odds are ill never see the phone again or if I do ill have the nandroid.

So that was weird. Plugged in and ADB driver installed right away. Moving on. Not gonna question it, lol.

That's good but weird that's the type of stuff i just go okay whatever.lol It'll make you want to pull your hair out sometime.

L O L! Maybe my girlfriend installed them while she was using my computer. NOT< L O L!

Alright. I'm unlocked. Flash time. (That was like cake, i love this phone hahaha took me forever to get the epic to root)

Ah, that was sweet. The hardest part for me was not hitting the power button instead of the volume keys and accidentally rebooting before I installed superuser zip. lol. O, and for some reason in clockwork it wouldn't mount to my pc to move over the zip file. So I had to reboot, move over, then reflash the recovery again. Odd.

Now, the hard part. 35 minutes to put all my music, movies, and data back on, lol. Then I'll set everything up the way I always have it and make the nandroid.

(PS, I didn't have to install SDK to get ADB or Fastboot I downloaded the file on this page to get the drivers originally How to Root Nexus S or Nexus S 4G! [NEW][Mac|Linux|Win] it had the recovery and su zip but I didn't use those ones. ADB and Fast boot were both in there and worked no problem)

Sweet glad to hear and takes sum work sometimes but you just have to stick with it and things workout.Congrats again give yourself a pat on the back.:p

Haha, wasn't the rooting part I was worried about. It's what I do now that I have root and can't control myself. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Hopefully the backup goes smooth. That's what I had problems with on the Epic.

Ok, I edited this like 3 times, lol.

Made backup through clock work. Now I have these files:

Boot.img Cool
Recovery.img Awesome
System.ext4.tar eh....
data.ext4.tar meh.....

I'm assuming the tars are not flashable? What do I have to do to get them to img?

Well after beating my head against the wall I figured out how to make your own system.img from command line.
I will post the command as soon as I'm back at my PC.
