Core prime keyboard stopped working what do I do

I have a core prime and the keyboard stopped working. How do I fix it. I have only had the phone 5 months. What's happening?

I have a 2nd keyboard installed as well, don't know if that has anything to do with it. But when this happens, I go to input settings, uncheck all keyboards, check them again, and they work fine. Happens a couple times a week probably, rather irritating.
