I have recently starting having a problem syncing my corporate contacts with my exchange server. When I first set up the account, everything synced fine. I had all of my contacts on the phone, as well as calendar items and email. Now, the calendar and email syncs fine, but the contacts only sync one way from the phone to exchange. If I add a contact on my computer in outlook, it will not push to the phone. But if I add a contact on the phone it will show up in outlook. Again, calendar items and emails work both ways. Anyone have any ideas?

Did the company change something with activesync? (provided they support it)

I've had much better luck with a third party program called touchdown.

No changes. Would rather have my stock app working again. I already have two apps for email (email and gmail) don't really want a third. Also, will touchdown work with the phone dialer when looking for contacts to call?

Are you saying you're searching contacts through the phone dialer?

Sort of. The phone dialer has a contacts tab, and you can also begin to dial letters of a name or digits of a number and it displays contacts. I want to keep this functionality.

I've used both touchdown and moxier. Both work the same way in that they pull your contacts from exchange and then push them into the phone's contacts storage. That way the contacts tie into the dialer, MMS, etc. If you are a heavy outlook user I'd recommend that you look at either of the two. The built in email likely does not have the functionality that you are probably used to, IMHO.

True Dat...Touchdown also has it's own contact list too. I kinda shied away from my business list from touchdown my contacts as contact will no longer support custom ringtones with corporate contacts and I like my sounds...

HOORAY! I did the Froyo update and now everything is working again like it should! No, wait, BETTER! I like this phone again. :)
