Corporate sync app not showing notifications

So, I have had my phone for a good 5 months now and all of a sudden my corporate email isn't working the greatest. One day I will receive notifications and the next morning I wake up I will go into work and see I have unread new mail, but no notification on my phone. Could it possible be an issue with the latest firmware upgrade?

I power off my phone every once in a while to try and have that solve the issue but it isnt a consistent thing where I never get notifications.
